Dental Veneers is a thin layer of tooth-coloured material, usually porcelain, is fitted over a discoloured tooth.

Dental Veneers are an important tool for the cosmetic dentist. A dentist may use one veneer to restore a single tooth that may have been fractured, crowding or discolored, or multiple teeth to create a "Hollywood" type of smile makeover.  

Dental  veneers are custom-designed shells of tooth-like ceramic material, when applied over the surface of a tooth, can cover worn tooth enamel, uneven tooth alignment or spacing and chips or cracks tooth.

Some people have worn away the edges of their teeth resulting in a prematurely aged appearance, while others may have malpositioned teeth that appear crooked. Multiple veneers can close these spaces, lengthen teeth that have been shortened by wear, provide a uniform color, shape, and symmetry, and make the teeth appear straight.

The two most common materials used in the manufacture of dental veneers are composite resin and porcelain veneers.

Both porcelain veneers and composite veneers can be fabricated by a dental technician in a dental laboratory; composite veneers can also be directly fabricated inside your mouth at the dental clinic.

After fixed the permanent veneers if you do not maintain proper care of your gums, they may become inflamed and then begin to recede from your teeth. If your gum line recedes, the porcelain veneers may become visible, ruining your perfect smile.

Avoid some foods and beverages that may stain or discolor your veneers such as coffee, tea, ketchup or red wine.
